You'll always find beauty in light.

Been using my trusty old Sony more often recently ever since internship ended (I really, really can't get over how grateful and happy I am that it is), and exploring how much I can do with my 50mm prime lens. Here are some pictures that I took when I stayed at V Hotel (located in Lavender, Singapore) in the midst of moving into a new house. Love the colors that Sony cameras produce, they never ever fail to amaze me with the pretty hues :')

Been pretty stressed about my Final Year Project(FYP) lately, am only left with 2 weeks before the final submission and evaluation, and I hate to say that I've made no progress. The past 8 weeks have been very confusing for myself as well as my team mates. We've had no supervision or whatsoever, no consultations - well, we did have 2, the first was when our supervisor basically told us that our idea sucked and that we aren't good enough to handle a web-based project and told us to change our project scope entirely (week 4), and the second was to tell us that we still suck (week 7).

To be honest, I'm consumed with fear and uncertainty, I can't see any hope of us improving anything at all. Don't mean to complain and seem like such a nag, but I just can't understand how a group of students will miraculously improve/do well without proper guidance and/or supervision from a teacher. Telling us that we suck definitely won't help either. It'll only make us feel much worse about ourselves, which is how I'm feeling right now. Unmotivated, angry, frustrated, afraid, confused, upset.

Oh well, all I can do now is to give it my best and I'm willing do whatever it takes to get my report done... even if it means forgoing my sleep and not being able to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year this weekend. This project is going to make or break me, determining whether or not I get to graduate well with merit or not. And I'm not about to let any ridiculous supervisor who doesn't even seem to give a rat's ass about her students and their future.

Seems like I spent a great deal ranting, and it's about time I get back to writing my report. Here's to a (hopefully) great week, and to the last 2 weeks of my education journey.

Shine on, x
