Last month, I went to catch one of the most amazing musicals EVER, Les Misérables. We bought our tickets last year using a corporate discount (52 people watching it together is no joke yo).
It was SO good, my friends and I left the theater with our hearts still beating rapidly. The sound and visual effects complimented every bit of the musical perfectly.
I was most impressed with their performance of One Day More, my friend even commented that he thought it was the end of the musical because it was "OMGWOW", only to find out that it was just the intermission. But seriously, I bet everyone who watched the musical felt the same. It was so overwhelming and touching that I'm not gonna lie, I teared up. The song got a full house standing ovation (maybe only happened for the night I watched the musical but seriously? They deserved it!) and it wasn't even the finale yet.
I remember tearing during Wicked a couple years back, but I have to admit that this was WAY better. Worth every single cent.
Even reminiscing about that night makes my heart skip a little.
How I wish time stood still...
